Description
Warhammer 40K Chaos Iron Warriors
Iron within Iron without!
The Iron Warriors, have, over the millennia earned a fierce reputation of masters of siege warfare, both offensive and defensive. However they are by no means focussed on these endeavours and are almost as adept at many other types of warfare ranging from guerilla battles to massed tank duels. If given the choice however the Legion generally employs a series of simple strategems starting with a vast artillery bombardment that uses every weapon at their disposal. Having breached any enemy defences and shattered the morale of the enemy they will attack along routes scouted and secured by small groups of Marines, rapidly infiltrating the enemy battle lines before destroying them from within. The Legion is noted for its frequent use of Daemon Engines and slave soldiers in larger engagements and it is rare to find an Iron Warriors Warsmith without an extensive siege train at his command.
