Great pose - referenced?

Lovely shading on the whole thing - Rogue is fantastic, and everything 2000ad is entirely underrated ;)

I love this guy, I have most of the 2000AD's from 1984-1986. I think this was one of the most original ideas in comics.

You need to look at this one I did, back in 1985 in ink. [link]

I've lost some of my drawing skills over time. I started painting those Games Workshop armies and stopped drawing. Only went back to drawing when my eyes refused to see all those little details on 25MM faces. So for about 16 months now, I've been rubbing off the rust :)

Oh and thanks :)

The reference was one of the covers from 2000AD, I think it was from 1985. My version is a bit bigger, it just about fit on my new scanner. The cover was in color so I had to work out my own shading, but that's part of the fun :)

Oh Yes 2000AD back their in the 80's was outstanding. I had a hard time getting them here in the U.S. sometimes, and I know I paid way more than the cover prices for most of them. But I think it was well worth it :)
