Rope to Tree

Started with 50' of outdoor cotton clothesline. Cut into 25' lenghts. Each piece was soaked in water with either green or brown acrylic paint added. An old canvas board was painted over in blue acrylic. When the rope had dried it was cut into different lenghts. The green rope's core was removed for the grass, the out side shell was cut into small pieces and pulled to make the leafs. The pieces were glued to the board using clear school glue.
